Oracle Projects Lead

One of Millenilink’s clients is hiring an Oracle Projects Lead (Functional) for a 15-month contract working out of Calgary. This opportunity is available to those in the Calgary area, or those willing to travel periodically to Calgary including every week for the first 3 months. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert implementing Oracle Projects specifically on Oracle Cloud and ideally have implementation experience with an oil & gas, construction or industrials end client.

About the Role - The successful candidate will be an expert with Oracle Projects and have 1-2 previous implementations including integration with Oracle Financials, Cash Management, Treasury and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules on Oracle Cloud. The Oracle Projects Lead will interface with the business and therefore must be a functional expert and understand the operational nature of fracking, coil tubing, getting a well production ready or increasing production from a well site. This includes understanding of fleet management, maintenance schedules and everything required to successfully run this business. Responsibilities

• Experience as the Functional Lead implementing Oracle Projects on Oracle Cloud platform with an oil & gas, construction or industrials client

• Expert level functional experience with Oracle Projects integrations with:

• Oracle Financials

• Oracle Cash Management

• Oracle SCM

• Oracle Treasury

• Expert level of experience of proper taxonomy in Oracle Projects and WBS (Work Breakdown Structures)

• Operational capabilities to interface with foremen, and superintendents of an oil & gas organization

• Experience leading clients through design sessions/workshops and sprints to create user stories

• Understanding how to load a budget into Oracle projects, schedule resources and have the appropriate setup to execute

• Experience having financials reflected in Oracle Projects

• Workflow from Oracle SCM to Oracle Projects

• Understanding how to complete logistics behind things such as field service tickets, maintenance schedules and tracking completion

• Familiarity with well site services including fracking, coil tubing and the ability to interface with the client

• Strong track record of documentation on previous projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
