Test Lead

Must Have Skills:

· Solid understanding of end-end application development lifecycle and pitfalls

· Expertise in proactively identifying gaps in user stories and following through with test management processes.

· Leadership experience managing a team of ~10 testers.

· Hands-on with manual and automated testing tools and processes in service-oriented architecture.

· Hands-on with SQL and database testing (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access).

· Proficient in project management practices.

· Solid experience in managing quality of large and complex technical portfolio

· Proficient in understanding of unit testing coverage.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

· Use of AI in Software Testing

· Experience with Java, CURAM and Oracle

· Familiarity with AODA testing tools.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with a strong focus on leadership, and hands-on experience with key testing tools. The ideal candidate will lead a team of ~10 testers while performing hands-on testing. This role involves managing quality of applications end-end across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

· Manage end-end quality of application development lifecycle.

· Optimize and manage resources across the testing lifecycle.

· Plan, manage and lead the design and execution of test strategies, plans, scenarios.

· Coordinate test strategies with project managers and stakeholders.

· Establish proactive monitoring and application health dashboards and remain hands-on on granular details.

· Provide practical insights on testing and user stories during development phase.

· Incorporate AI and automation to increase efficiency and productivity.

· Lead and mentor the testing team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

This role is part of a Hybrid Work Arrangement and remote arrangement and office location is at 5700 Yonge St. or at discretion of Hiring Manager.
